I have finally had a chance to have a listen to this amp.
As usual I restricted myself to a couple of CD’s I use with any amp I test, Diana Krall Live in Paris & Cassandra Wilson’s Travelling Miles.

It was immediately obvious that this amp has the qualities that I expect to hear in a vintage amplifier.

Good presence,
Clean crisp highs,
Well rounded base.

While not a revelation in sound this amp is a tidy little performer and is in excellent cosmetic condition with a truly funky 70’s font on the face plate. The mid range was clean but not as full as I would have liked, I think the use of a graphic equaliser would go a long way to correcting this situation. Intriguingly there are Pre in/out inputs on the back of the case and I was able to test the amp without having them connected! As there is no Unite/Separate switch on the back there may be one inside, I will be taking a look at that soon.

A good looking amp with a Vintage Audio sound.
