Sansui BA-F1 & CA-F1 Power & Pre Amplifiers
110 Watts RMS PC x 2 at 8 Ohms. 1979.

Pretty much the Sansui Flagship system for 1979. Lots of power lots of musical discretion and detail in a full warm sounding two part package.

I have had this unit up and running for about a week as the main system in the house at the time of writing & I have been very impressed by the incredible fullness of sound these components create. The last piece of equipment I had running that was on par with the CA/BA-F1 was the Rotel RX 1603 in terms of overall richness of sound and effortless musical delivery.

Quoting from the literature mentioned above in brief,

"BA-F1

El-core transformer & four 1500 pico,F electrolytic capacitors. The transformer has two separate windings and two entirely separate coils.

Diamond Differential DC circuit (DD/DC), very low Transient Inter modulation Distortion (TID) and ultra high slew rate. Mono power amplifier x 2 construction.
110 watts RMS at 8 Ohms per channel. 5 to 20Khz, 0.008% thd.

CA-F1

Freq Response 5-600 Khz thd & S/N better than 0.005% + 90dB. Improved slew rate, virtually no TIM distortion or envelop distortion.

First Class MC Head Amp.
Push-Pull, Symmetrical circuit, p-channel/n-channel FET..

Toroidal Transformer, DD/DC Phono Equaliser with as many as 20 FETs & Transistors..."

At time of photographing the unit had blown power on bulbs which we are now replacing. Both units are in very good cosmetic condition and are in perfect functional condition.
