About Kent
Kent 's first experience with audio came from recording his father singing the lead roll in the musical South Pacific. This was done with four mic's a mixer box and a top loading JVC tape deck in the late 70's.
While the results of those recordings were not exactly professional, the experience lead him to enrol in the sound engineering course at the School of Audio Engineering, (SAE) in Brisbane in the early 80's.
SAE has gone from strength to strength but Kent 's foray into sound engineering was soon eclipsed by a new love of photography which has endured both personally & professionally to this day.
Music has however been his constant companion and muse. After acquiring a second hand stereo system for his partner some 18 months ago, he became aware of the fantastic sound quality of vintage audio & wasted no time in exchanging his late 90's sound system for vintage audio components. He has happily run systems based around 70's Pioneer, Sansui, Rotel and Yamaha since and re-engaged with playing vinyl recordings.
Kent has been buying and selling vintage audio with the zeal of a new convert since he was awakened to the quality of vintage audio.
About Bob
Bob studied electronics at NSW TAFE in Sydney ’s inner west longer ago than he is prepared to reveal. He has collected traded & of course serviced and repaired audio equipment for most of that time. He is now semi retired and is busily trying to create order with his collection of equipment.

I am hoping Bob will learn to use a computer to help with the sites work load in the near future!
