Kenwood KR 6140A 4Channel Tuner Amplifier

Quadraphonic sound from a master of 70s Audio.

This is a very impressive unit with a great FM tuner. Kenwood were renowned for there TOL tuners, in fact in the 70's Kenwood where one of 'the' brands. Sadly now it's only Accuphase the boutique audio unit set up Kenwood in the 70's that carries the mantle of greatness.

Of course the good news is this a 70's receiver from a market leader at its peak. An exceptionally made unit. The Tuner gangs are shielded (I have removed the metal casing for the picture). The L&R channels are fully separated and are located on massive heat sinks either side of the large shielded transformer. Apart from the scratching around the power switch, the unit is in great condition. (We will be looking at getting some retouching paint on the scratches).
