Pioneer TX-7500 Tuner 1976 Sold

Looks good sounds great. Ours is in very very good cosmetic and functional condition.

FM tuners from the 70's in Australia are an interesting proposition as we did not have FM!!! Lets all keep this in mind when reading American web sites.

As reviewed on FM Tuner Info, I have copied a snippet and included the full link below. These guys are tough. You don't even begin to get a look in here unless you are already top shelf.

"This little brother of the TX-9500 is a good tuner in its own right. The 4-gang TX-7500 has a similar front end to that of the TX-8500II. The TX-7500's
single-bandwidth IF stage consists of 3 ceramic filters and one gain stage. The FM quad chip is an HA1137 which is followed by an HA1156 stereo demod chip."
