All-Ballance 50s/60's Tone arm

It was taken from a Garrard 301 turntable. Bob sold the turntable without the arm or case as one does for these models.

With the distinctive All-Ballance logo on the head shell, The head shell is made of a bakelite. There is a hair fracture on the side of the shell, it looks like it has always been there as it is right beside an internal gusset.

Thanks to John O'Malley who was able to identify the 'mystery tone arm' for us. John also provided us with manufacturing details too.

"Hi, The mystery arm is an All-Ballance manufactured simultaneously by Jobo in Holland and Sonograf Electric Co New York.

This isn't information from the top of my head, I saw it recently in the December 1960 issue of Radio Television and Hobbies. regards John"

Thanks John we would be lost without you.

The arm is for sale for a reasonable offer, drop me a line.

Cheers Kent & Bob.
